Modern Slavery Statement
Our commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Financial year ending: 2026
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Mando Network Ltd's modern slavery and human trafficking statement.
1. About Mando Network
Mando Network Ltd ("Mando Network", "we", "us", "our") is a United Kingdom-based financial technology company providing personal and business banking services. We offer current accounts, payment acceptance, business management tools, and related financial services to individuals and businesses across the UK.
We are committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in all our business operations and supply chain relationships.
2. Our Commitment
Mando Network has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships, and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our business or in any of our supply chains.
We are committed to ensuring transparency in our business and in our approach to tackling modern slavery throughout our supply chains, consistent with our disclosure obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
3. Our Business Structure
Mando Network operates primarily in the United Kingdom. Our business activities include:
- Provision of personal and business current accounts
- Payment processing and card acceptance services
- Business management and productivity tools
- Website hosting and digital presence services for merchants
- Customer support and financial administration
4. Our Supply Chains
Our supply chains include:
- Technology providers — cloud hosting, software platforms, payment infrastructure, and telecommunications services
- Professional services — legal, audit, compliance, and consulting firms
- Financial partners — banking partners, card networks, and payment scheme providers
- Office services — facilities management, cleaning, and equipment suppliers
We recognise that, as a technology-focused financial services company, our supply chain risk for modern slavery is relatively lower than in sectors such as manufacturing, agriculture, or construction. However, we remain vigilant and proactive in our approach.
5. Our Policies
We operate a number of internal policies to ensure we are conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner. These include:
- Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy — Sets out the organisation's commitment to preventing slavery and human trafficking in our business activities and supply chains
- Recruitment Policy — We conduct eligibility to work in the UK checks for all employees and verify the identity of all new staff to safeguard against human trafficking or individuals being forced to work against their will
- Whistleblowing Policy — We encourage all employees, customers, and suppliers to report any concerns related to our activities or supply chains. This includes any circumstances that may give rise to an enhanced risk of slavery or human trafficking
- Code of Conduct — Our code makes clear to employees the actions and behaviours expected of them when representing the organisation
- Supplier Code of Conduct — We expect our suppliers to comply with all applicable laws regarding slavery and human trafficking and to implement their own due diligence procedures
6. Due Diligence
As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk, we have implemented the following due diligence procedures:
- Conducting risk assessments of our supply chains to identify areas of potential risk
- Evaluating the modern slavery and human trafficking risks of new suppliers during our procurement process
- Including anti-slavery provisions in our contracts with suppliers
- Monitoring key suppliers on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with our anti-slavery values
- Carrying out right-to-work checks on all employees and conducting thorough background screening
7. Risk Assessment
We have assessed the principal risks of modern slavery occurring in our business and supply chains. We consider the following areas to present potential risk:
- Outsourced or subcontracted services, particularly in jurisdictions with weaker labour protections
- Recruitment of temporary or agency workers
- Procurement of technology hardware and equipment
We mitigate these risks through our due diligence processes, supplier assessments, and ongoing monitoring procedures described above.
8. Training
We provide training to our staff to ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains. This includes:
- Awareness training for all new employees during onboarding
- Specific training for our procurement and compliance teams on identifying and addressing modern slavery risks
- Regular updates on modern slavery legislation and best practices
9. Key Performance Indicators
We will know the effectiveness of the steps we are taking to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not occurring in our business or supply chains if:
- No reports are received from employees, the public, or law enforcement to indicate that modern slavery practices have been identified in our operations or supply chains
- All employees complete annual awareness training
- All new suppliers are subject to anti-slavery due diligence
- The level of communication and personal contact with next-tier suppliers is maintained to support compliance
